...as John Lennon put it. Well, looking back at our Update-section during 2009 I could ask myself the same question. As you might figure, this year has had other priorities rather than Blank Page
(see update 21 May 2009). Still we haven´t been totally unproductive, things have just been moving slower than we would have wished for.

Anyhow, we still would like to wish you all an amazing Christmas and a wonderful Happy 2010!

A very personal message!!
Hello everyone! About time, right?! Well, to be honest these last few months have been the toughest of my life! February 2nd we went to the hospital with my daughter Cajsa, who had celebrated her 6th birthday only one week earlier. There she was diagnosed with diabetes! A total shock of course, even though we kind of had our suspicions as we went to the hospital.

So now she has to take 6 injections/day and several blood tests to see that the blood sugar level is ok, and as far as we can see she will have to do this for the rest of her life. Unless someone discovers how to cure the disease...

But research takes money, lots of money!! Here in Sweden we have Barndiabetesfonden who raise money for this research (among other things...), and if you would like to help out - here´s your chance! Click the logotype below, read more about their work and find out how you can make a financial contribution (maybe even become a member?) to help the scientists find a cure!! And if you do, from the bottom of my heart - A MILLION THANKS!!

Long time no see...
Goodness gracious, has it been THAT long since last update?!?
Well, time flies and there haven´t been much time for recording sessions - sadly... But at the moment there´s a whole bunch of songs and ideas just waiting to be arranged and recorded - if we just manage to get our schedules together. So just hang on in there - things are about to happen!! :-)

October recording session!

Pär goes unplugged!
The other night I played an acoustic gig in a local church. Among other songs I sang Glory by Taylor Mesplé and River to the Sea
by Simon Apple. My wife Caroline filmed those two songs with our digital camera and... ...well click songtitles and see for yourselves.
It´s all 'in the raw', faults and mistakes and all...

Work in progress part II!
It´s been a looong time since last update, so what´s new? Well... ...honestly not that much. Things are moving quite slow for Blank Page at the moment. Johan is expecting the birth of his second child any day now and Pär is rehearsing as stand-in guitarist for a gig with CNP, a band he used to play with years ago (make a visit at www.cnp.nu).

But at last we can present a short sample of a new song called Speechless (click title to listen), one of the first tracks recorded with Tobias Tybåhl on bass! This is not the final version, but we figured it would be nice to give you a little taste of what´s to come... ;-)
